Good old fashioned chalk. I am sorry if this is painfully obvious as a good craft task for toddlers but I had not tried it until today - I just hadn't thought of it! So if you have a patio, pavement, park path near you give it a go - we drew stepping stones to hop across and Lenny enjoyed scribbling and mark making on the patio but the very clear highlight was brushing down the stones at the end! Less Picasso…..more street cleaner……!
